Action Items and Punch Lists are a way of project life.

As a project transitions from one phase to another, it is important to collect and resolve all old issues. The Action Items / Punch List document is a communication device to collect all the bits and pieces to prevent them from falling through the cracks. They are the promises and contract issues, and transition items that need to be cleared to allow the project to proceed to the next phase.

Use the Action Items / Punch List to send action items for meeting preparation, create startup/turnover system punch lists, or simply to "keep on the table" important issues.
